Our secret for a great massage? Yes, great hands and a beautiful, quiet setting are well known essentials. Our secret, however, is the amazing difference a whirlpool or sauna can make before your session. They are complimentary with any of our in-house services listed below. So come a half hour early with your swimsuit and experience the difference for yourself. Dressing rooms, showers, robes and towels are provided.

Note: The whirlpool or sauna should not be used if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, or certain other medical conditions. Check with your doctor if you are unsure.

the revitalizer

Enjoy a full body massage designed to increase circulation, soothe tired muscles, and ease your mind. The long, nurturing strokes of Swedish massage may be combined with other techniques such as reflexology, Shiatsu points, cranio-sacral, and polarity therapy upon request at the time you make your appointment. You may also choose to add hot rocks to your session for an even deeper experience. With the hot rocks treatment, your therapist will incorporate smooth, hot stones of various sizes into the massage strokes, allowing the heat to penetrate and relax tense muscles.

For relaxation, stress release, and general wellbeing. Whirlpool and sauna use is complimentary.

*Hot rocks can be added to any session of 60 minutes or more for an additional $15.00.

deep tissue

Deep tissue work is a generic term for any bodywork that uses strong, slow, penetrating pressure to affect rehabilitative change in the deep connective tissue matrix that envelopes and anchors the muscular system. Deep tissue work can relieve or release chronic tension, constriction, adhesion, pain, fatigue, ischemia or trigger points that accumulate in the soft tissue due to injury, repetitive motion, poor posture or other unbalanced use of the body. Deep tissue work includes neuromuscular therapy, trigger point release and deep myofascial release as well as certain specific disciplines such as Rolfing and Structural Integration, which are also offered here at the center.

Release of chronic, deep layer muscle tension due to stress, injury or athletics. Whirlpool and sauna use is complimentary.

rolfing & structural integration

Normally included in a 10 - session process, Rolfing and Structural Integration are systems of soft tissue manipulation using very firm pressure and deep strokes combined with movement education. Rolfing and Structural Integration sessions are designed to align and balance the body, improve posture and relieve chronic pain. Rolfing and Structural Integration can also be done in individual sessions. You'll feel like a new person!

Deep tissue therapy for muscular/ postural imbalance. Whirlpool and sauna use is complimentary.

face glow

We are proud to offer the Ann Marie Borlind facial products in this 30-minute face glow. These products are made in Germany from 100% organic and wild-crafted sources and meet Neuform (German Health Food Industry regulators) standards of purity. We guarantee you will fall in love with the likes of the rose dew day cream and orange blossom energizer! Add a massage for a full body experience.

citrus body polish

This 45-minute features gentle apricot seed powder to exfoliate, safflower seed oil to moisturize and a botanical blend of lavender, geranium, chamomile and soapwort to nourish the skin. Scented with natural lemon, orange and lime, this amazing polish will leave your skin silky smooth and hydrated. A great add-on to a massage.

satin body scrub

This 45-minute treatment uses a unique combination of apricot seed powder and pumice to stimulate the skin and slough off dead skin cells to reveal soft, supple skin. Made with safflower seed and jojoba oil to moisturize, a calming blend of chamomile, geranium and lavender extracts to soothe, this scrub is recommended for use on rough and tough skin. Add a massage for an exquisite experience.

essential oil bodywrap

This 75-minute treatment uses the finest quality ingredients to nourish and rejuvenate the skin. Beginning with a dry brush exfoliation the skin is drenched with a mixture of wheat germ oil and essential oils of pine, lavender, juniper, thyme, mint and sage to stimulate circulation and draw toxins from the body. A neck, scalp and face massage accompany this aromatic session and will leave your skin smooth and vibrant.

seaweed/clay bodywrap

Soothe away stress and tension in this luxurious 75-minute treatment beginning with a dry brush exfoliation of the entire body and neck, scalp and face massage. This detoxifying and hydrating treatment uses the healing properties of sea algae, clay, sea salts, brewer's yeast and spirulina to provide metabolic stimulation of the skin. Ideal for a cellulite or weight-loss program.

la stone massage

This nurturing 80-minute session will take you to a timeless and dream-like state within a very short time. Using an elaborate layout of 50+ hot basalt river stones and cold marble stones the entire massage is done with the stones. This treatment is extremely relaxing and is definitely the one to book if you more than a little stressed.

partner massage class

This fun and informative session with a certified massage therapist is tailored to meet your individual needs. Each person gives and receives a 45-minute massage guided by the therapist. A great way to celebrate a special occasion and experience a four-hand massage. 90 minutes.

spa visit

If you choose not to schedule a massage, you are welcome to enjoy our spa for a small fee. Allow yourself to sink into relaxation in our blue-tiled whirlpool, while enjoying some cool, filtered water. Then alternate between our redwood dry sauna and a cool shower. Private dressing rooms with robes and towels are provided. The spa area is co-ed and swimsuits are required. ** Not appropriate for those with high blood pressure, heart conditions, diabetes, varicosity, healing wounds or pregnancy.

outcalls

We can arrange for a therapist to visit your home or office for an on-site table or chair massage. Home visits are a wonderful way to pamper yourself, knowing you can completely relax at home after your session. Office chair massages are the perfect treat for stressed employees, allowing them to rejuvenate with a 5-20 minute chair massage and return to work refreshed. Office sessions are an ideal way to begin a brainstorming session, an excellent addition to a company picnic, and a helpful way to promote wellness with your employees.

medical massage

Our center is staffed with highly skilled and caring massage therapists proficient in techniques such as myofascial release and trigger point therapy. We coordinate your rehabilitation treatments with your other healthcare professionals such as medical doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapists to maximize the benefit you receive from each session. We can bill your insurance company directly, allowing you to focus on your recovery.

Medical condition with doctor's prescription for massage therapy. Paid by auto, work comp, general or group health insurance.
